Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital opened in October 2017 in Xuhui District as a 500-bed JCI-accredited international hospital built on a strategic partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital (Mass General Brigham) and Harvard Medical School dating to 2012. More than 600 Jiahui staff have trained at MGH's Boston campus, and the Jiahui International Cancer Center operates as a joint programme with the MGH Cancer Center. The hospital also offers strong ENT, gastroenterology, and orthopaedic programmes for international patients.
