Overview

Access leading hematology-oncology centers offering chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and CAR T-cell therapy for leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and other blood cancers. India and Israel are recognized globally for their hematology expertise, offering JCI-accredited centers at dramatically reduced costs compared to Western countries.

Your case is matched to a centre on the basis of clinical outcome data, not marketing. We coordinate every step — from pre-operative work-up to post-treatment follow-up — with a dedicated care coordinator.

What's included

Hematology-oncology specialist consultation and treatment planning
Complete diagnostic workup (bone marrow biopsy, flow cytometry, cytogenetics)
Chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or CAR T-cell therapy cycles
Inpatient stays, laminar air-flow room (BMT), and nursing care
Dedicated oncology coordinator and language interpreter
Discharge summary with home-country oncologist follow-up protocol

Costs are indicative estimates and vary by procedure specifics, hospital, and clinical complexity. Request a personalised estimate for your specific case.

Cost & recovery by procedure

This treatment category covers several different operations with different levels of invasiveness, recovery times, and costs. The country averages above blend all of them together — use the breakdown below for a more realistic, procedure-specific estimate.

Chemotherapy for Blood Cancers

A combination of anti-cancer drugs given in structured cycles (such as induction, consolidation, and maintenance) to kill malignant blood cells throughout the body. The exact drugs, number of cycles, and intensity depend heavily on the specific leukemia or lymphoma subtype and stage — this is not a single standardized regimen.

Typical recovery · 4–8+ cycles over months

Induction cycles often require inpatient stays of 1–4 weeks while blood counts are closely monitored for infection risk during periods of low immunity; later consolidation or maintenance cycles are frequently outpatient. Total course length ranges from a few months to over a year depending on diagnosis and response.

Targeted Therapy & Immunotherapy

Oral targeted drugs (such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors for CML) or infused biologic agents (such as rituximab for B-cell lymphomas, or checkpoint inhibitors) that act on specific molecular features of the cancer cells rather than all dividing cells in the body. Some are taken indefinitely to control disease long-term; others are given for a fixed number of cycles alongside chemotherapy.

Typical recovery · Ongoing or cycle-based

Oral targeted therapies are self-administered at home with periodic blood monitoring, often continuing for years. Infused biologics are typically given as an outpatient session lasting a few hours every 2–4 weeks for a defined number of cycles, with minimal downtime between visits.

CAR T-Cell Therapy

A patient's own T-cells are collected, genetically engineered to recognize and attack the specific blood cancer, then re-infused after a short course of conditioning chemotherapy. It is approved for certain relapsed or refractory leukemias, lymphomas, and myeloma — response varies enormously by cancer subtype and how many prior treatments have been tried, and it is not appropriate or available for every blood cancer patient. More procedure-specific detail on eligibility, the manufacturing process, and side-effect monitoring is covered on our dedicated CAR T-cell therapy page.

Typical recovery · 3–4 week inpatient stay

After cell collection, laboratory engineering of the cells typically takes 2–4 weeks before infusion. Following infusion, patients require roughly 3–4 weeks of inpatient monitoring for cytokine release syndrome and neurological side effects, plus continued close monitoring near the treatment center for some weeks after discharge before travelling home.

Bone Marrow / Stem Cell Transplant

Diseased or cancerous bone marrow is replaced with healthy blood-forming stem cells — the patient's own (autologous) or a matched donor's (allogeneic) — after high-dose conditioning chemotherapy or radiation clears remaining cancer cells and makes room for the new marrow. Transplant type, donor matching, and outcomes vary widely by diagnosis; more procedure-specific detail is covered on our dedicated bone marrow transplant page.

Typical recovery · 4–6 week hospital stay

Requires isolation in a specialized transplant unit for roughly 4–6 weeks while the new marrow engrafts and blood counts recover, followed by close outpatient monitoring for infection and, for allogeneic transplants, graft-versus-host disease. Most patients should plan on 2–3 months in-country before travelling home.

India

$18,000–$45,000

Turkey

$36,000–$56,000

Thailand

$30,000–$80,000

Frequently asked questions

Our partner hospitals for blood cancer treatment are JCI-accredited or nationally accredited institutions with dedicated hemato-oncology departments, including certified BMT units. Before we match you with a center, our medical team reviews your pathology reports, FISH/cytogenetics, and staging workup to confirm the hospital has experience with your specific diagnosis (e.g., Ph+ ALL, DLBCL, multiple myeloma). We also facilitate a pre-travel video consultation with the treating hematologist so you can ask questions and receive a detailed treatment proposal before committing to travel.
